Aruba Birdlife Conservation is very grateful to SARFA for their support. In recognition for their assistance, please consider supporting this life saving organization.
Search and Rescue Foundation Aruba (SARFA) was founded on January 6th 1994. It is a voluntary nonprofit non-government organization dedicated to saving lives in Aruba’s surrounding waters.
SARFA has several rescue boats that have been donated by the Dutch Rescue Organisation (K.N.R.M.) but also by Valero.
SARFA works in close co-operation with the Coast Guard of Aruba, the Aruba Ports Authority, the Police force of Aruba (K.P.A.) and other governmental and non-governmental organizations in Aruba such as Red Cross Aruba, but also with organizations in the Netherlands and the USA.
SARFA’s volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and are responsibly trained in seamanship and small boat-handling skills, emergency response, search and rescue techniques and first aid and they are ready to assist in any kind of rescue operation 24/7; something proven time and again.
In order to keep up with the high operational cost of SARFA’s organization your donations are always highly appreciated.
